The Executive Members of the QBTA welcome you back and wish you a very successful year!
We are happy to report that the June 2009 Diversity Challenge Conference was
extraordinary. The conference was held at Estrimont Suites & Spa Orford in Magog, Quebec. It was a great time for networking and enjoying the dining and comforts of the picturesque surroundings. Many quality and informative workshops were offered. Publishers and sponsors were very generous. Our efforts will continue to focus first and foremost on the needs of our business teachers.
In the past, the QBTA consistently provided its members with opportunities to develop professionally. To facilitate this process and to keep pace with the new technology, the QBTA will continue to offer educational workshops.
This year, the QBTA has organized four hands-on workshops, so keep September and October free. Three workshops will be offered in September and one is scheduled for October, and all will be held at the John F. Kennedy Centre. The centre is accessible by metro (St. Michel) and parking is available in the school parking lot which is located at the back of the building on St. Michel Boulevard.
The workshops will begin at 4:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
A light supper will be served between 6:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Please complete the enclosed membership form. Don’t delay – send your cheque of $25.00 promptly. This amount will cover your membership for 2009-2010, and will entitle you to attend all our workshops for free.
