HOW TO PREPARE BUSINESS CARDS
IN MICROSOFT WORD

  Steps:

  1. Menu Tools > Envelopes and Labels  

  2. Select Labels  

  3. Click on Options  

  4. Scroll down the Label Product list and select the maker of the product you are using.  

  5. Scroll down the Product List and select the product you are using. If you want to see the specifications of a product, select details. Click on OK

  6. Type in the information you want on your business card. Do not format the information in anyway at this point.  

  7. Select New Document. Now you are in Word and you can format your business card as you wish. When you are pleased with the way your card looks, copy and paste your card to each of the other positions on the page.  

  8. Select Print. The printer is expecting you to use the product you selected. This sheet must be manually fed into the sheet feeder port of the printer.


OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR LIQUID
CRYSTAL DISPLAY (LCD)

 TO CONNECT THE LCD TO A COMPUTER:

  1.  The screen should be set up approximately 10 to 12 feet (2m) from the LCD.

  2. Start with both the computer and the LCD with the power OFF.

  3. Disconnect the cable that goes from the monitor to the computer from the back of the computer.

  4. Attach this monitor cable to the round junction box on the LCD cable.

  5. Attach the LCD cable to the back of the computer where the monitor cable was connected.

  6. Attach the other end of the LCD cable to the back of the LCD.

  7. Connect the LCD power cord to the LCD and to the electrical outlet.

  8. Turn on the power to both the computer and the LCD.

  9. Remove the lens cover from the lens of the LCD.

  10. Press the monitor button for Source.

TO DISCONNECT THE LCD FROM THE COMPUTER:

  1. Shut down the computer.  

  2. Turn the LCD power off.  

  3. Disconnect the LCD cable from the computer.  

  4. Disconnect the monitor cable from the circular connector of the LCD cable.  

  5. Reconnect the monitor cable to the back of the computer.  

  6. Disconnect the power cord from the LCD and from the electrical outlet.  

  7. Put the lens cover back on the lens of the LCD and place the LCD in the large section of its carrying case. (The LCD manual should also be in this pocket).  

  8. Place the power cord and LCD cable in the small pocket of the carrying case.
